As JF and Nurr have on their sites... er, how exactly do you upload (or whatever) fonts onto your site for easy download for other people? Is it fairly easy for a novice webmiss or not? :erm: just wondering 'cause I was thinking of trying it out on moi site. Thanks for any help! :D

 It's really easy. First I'd suggest making a folder for fonts, just to keep it nice and clean. Then do the "single file uploader," pick the font you want to upload, and put it in that folder. On your page, put the code for a link, but just have be the link to the font. So href=blah/fonts/times.ttf. If you want, you can make an image with the font on it, I know JF and I do that.

If you want to use a separate file host so you don't use oodles of bandwidth on your actual website, Mediafire is useful for uploading weird files that Photobucket or imageshack won't host. =)

Oks, so I still have a few questions... umm, this is as far as I got and then I got stuck 'cause it doesn't link right or something:

http://i41.tinypic.com/mm4yon.jpg

http://thelostmemories.webs.com/fonts.htm

erm, so... what am I doing wrong? :P I followed your instructions, Nurr, right up to the last and then I got a little stuck on some things. So... sorry to ask, but any more help, please? It's just not linking quite right... :erm:

Okay, I see what the problem is.

When you put
=link/linklink.ttf
it's reading it as thelostmemories/link/linklink.ttf

So you have
=thelostmemories/fonts/violation.ttf
so it's reading it as thelostmemoreis/thelostmemories/fonts/violation.ttf

You either need to get rid of "thelostmemories" or add the "http://" at the beginning of the link.
