So I've made many avatars and banners over this past year, and I'm deciding to make a website to put them up on so people can see them and use them. My question is where do you think I should make this site? It would of course have to be free, so I was thinking maybe an icon journal at Livejournal or maybe freewebs, but I'm not sure. Maybe not an icon journal cause I wouldn't update it much.....I just need a place to store all of my stuff online for people to use. Where do you think is the best site to do this on?

LiveJournal is pretty nice, but so is a website on Freewebs.

However, for your purpose, I'd suggest Liveournal. you wouldn't have to worry about space, and people can commetn and tell you which ones they took.

Yep. Exactly what Elleth said. LJ is really good if you don't want to have to worry about space, or coding/creating pages. So if you just want somewhere to put you graphics, and your not aiming to learn web design in the process, it's very useful. And, as was mentioned, people can comment without you having to install cutenews and learn how to work that.

If you add tags to all your entries, it does really matter that you don't update really often. People can find what they want, either by looking through previous entries or going to all the entries with a certain tag.

I agree with Ellethwen and Celebwen. I have 2 sites on freewebs, and if you get something special on freewebs [I'm not sure what it's called but it's something on the right hand side of the freewebs homepage] then you can have un-limited photo space. LiveJournal is also good. I havn't been there that often, but judging by what I saw when I went there, it is very good.

I totally agree with what Celebwen said -- Livejournal is very nice for a graphic-posting site I have my icons over there, and it's much easier than posting them all on my site
