Aye, I absolutely despise time zones. I think we should just have one big time zone, and then half the world can become nocturnal or something. 
It was admittedly 12:04 here by the time I posted that, but only because I stopped, went and saw that the voting had already started, and then took time writing a response.
Anyway, it's not a huge deal, but I really liked that banner, and I'm bummed that it's not going to get a chance to compete.

Oh dear, I've made a quite a mess out of things again, haven't I? If you'd like pirate, I could restart the voting process. I really don't want to leave you out, as that is quite a good banner.

Hmm, well from past experience of lurking round the contests section, you usually don't get the people who already voted to vote again. You'd probably have to PM them all, to let them know they need to re-vote.

Aye, and I'd feel bad for making a bigger mess of things.
It's really your call, Lar. It was my fault for not being clear in my post. Re-reading it, I realize that I probably should have specified that I'd be able to make my banner on Saturday, not have it done on Saturday. And I don't expect contest-makers to work around my crazy schedule.
If you feel you can restart it without too much craziness, it'd be nice, but otherwise I'll be fine. I never expect mine to beat JF or EA or FM anyway.

Nah, I feel bad enough, so I think I'm gonna restart the voting. If people don't vote again, that's fine. I just want to give you a chance.
So, that's that then. I'll get the new voting thread up as soon as I finish up on some English Lit annotations.
