That's the link to the E/F club if you're interested. It's the best club around!
Kitoky's probably just not finished yet. She's a mod so she's probably pretty busy. If you want to send her a friendly reminder or something though, I don't think she'd be offended.

Yes! Virtual cookies are good! Welcome one and all (if one and all show up, lol)! But this is offtopic...
Maybe it would be good to pm Kitoky, if you want. I know how you feel about not wanting to offend her or seem pushy...i've been slowly learning that i'm not always being as pushy as i think i am, though. So...whatever you decide.

^Good, lol.
Hmm...this thread is disintigrating...*must...know...results* I think that will save the discussion. I mean if we're talking about a club i started on the poetry contest thread... we need...something

Yes! This thread needs salvation! And the quickest way to salvation is............ results!
LOL. Just kidding Pip. At least I can wait a while longer. But Eariel is probably simply bubbling over with anticipation. I can't speak for anyone else of course. I wonder if they even still remember about this contest?

Oh huzzah! Another judge! Thanks hobobaggins! I suppose this will slow down the results a bit, but I guess it's worth the wait. Happy judging!

^What she said. It is worth the wait--i agree with TT. Thanks for pm-ing Kitoky, though, Pip. It'd still be nice to know her results are in.

ForeverFrodo wrote: lady_Ëarwen wrote: I hope this isn't cheating, but this is like poem versin of the short story "Footprints", it inspired me so much i wanted to write a poem about it
Footprints Dreaming the sweetest dream Nothing is as use to seem to be I was walking on the sandy beach Jesus, my saviour was beside me I saw my footprints far behind me I looked into the bright blue sky And this is what I did then see My life flashed before my eyes
I saw two pair of footprints His and mine, I followed his I was so happy I felt so free For the footprints were his
But on the way I found That in a time of need There was only two footprints Where were my Saviours?
I looked unto my Saviours face As i questioned him about this Lord, why weren't you there Why did you forsake me?
He looked at me and said I was always there for you My dear precious child Why would I ever forsake you
The time you saw one pair of footprints That was the day I carried you away That was the day I took away your pain All of your hurt and sadness all away I loved that short story, too and the way you put it in a poem is just perfect. Simply beautiful. Ok, I won't read through the last 5+ pages, I'll just wait for the judges' choice. Though I'm sure I won't win
aww thank you so much, i'm sure your poem will win something in dis contest
