Very cool entries Good idea for a contest, too! I always love doing textless banners, but I'm afraid the people I'm dedicating them too won't want a blank banner so I usually end up adding a bit of text. _________________

I love textless banners! Sometimes text can be good (like when you're using a line from a movie) but otherwise it just gets in the way. Like if you're doing a banner of Arwen, and the pics are all of Arwen, people can figure out what it's about without you writing "Arwen" on there. However, that's just my opinion because I have no pretty, decorative fonts on my comp and i can't do downloads

I really love adding text to my banners. Although, it really only depends on how the banner looks with and without it. Sometimes it is just missing something so you kind of have to add text.
