Here is mine, 'tisn't very good.. but was fun to write! 
Girl's Play
They played and played on hills of heather,
Swords of wood, nonexistent armor.
Such were their days in pleasant weather,
Scattering, scuttling,
Dodging and parrying,
Shining steel, and dashing leather.
She was the sister of one of the boys,
Jagged brown hair, and absent shoes.
Flopped on the grass, loving their ploys,
Watching, whistling,
Laughing and tagging,
They objected to her making such noise.
In vain they tried to make her leave,
Sword play doesn't belong to girls,
They could not ken why she would heave,
Sighing, frowning,
Lonesome and solitaire,
Following them still, yet only to grieve.
And then one day, they gave her a pass,
Made her a soldier and let her stay,
Jubilantly she conquered each task,
Scattering, scuttling,
Dodging and parrying,
For there is a bit of knight in every lass. _________________ <center>
