This is my first contest ever, and probably the first like this on A-U, so bear with me, please.

The idea for this contest came from Livejournal.com. It is an Alphabet Challenge, where you make 26 avatars, one for each of the letters of the English alphabet.

Procedure:

1. First, sign up, as always. There is an unlimited number of participants, so anyone can join. Just be sure that you are ready to make 26 avatars.

2. Once you’ve signed up, begin making your 26 avatars. Each avatar must feature something that begins with a different letter of the English alphabet. See the details for avatars below.

3. PM Joelle (that’s me!) with your entries, including the subject of each. PLEASE DO NOT POST THEM HERE! The only reason I do this is so that we can keep the entries secret until the end of the contest.

4. Then wait for me to post the voting and such, as normal.

Avatar Guidelines:

1. Avatars must be 100x100 pixels. No bigger, no smaller.
2. No repeating letters. If you want to make extras on your own time, fine, but don’t submit them to me.
3. If you can’t think of a subject, too bad! Be creative! Ask others for subject ideas, I don’t care! The point is to make the icons, not to have the most original subject material.
4. Stick with the theme! Don’t make avatars of other movies, characters, etc.
