Thank you. :-) Hah, people would think that, but it isn't actually. I've had to do it a few times so I'm used to it by now. I hate it when I see people who haven't made themself an award if they won one, they placed so why not? :P

The good thing is that you get an award you like!! :P
What do you do with all the awards? I mean they can't all be displayed on the mantelpiece...!
Actually, I've been wondering what people do with their awards? Display them on their sites, save them to Photobucket? Or look at them, gets a happy, warm feeling for 5 seconds and forget about it again?

Ohh, and perhaps you had made the awards in advance so you just needed to put names on them...

Last question (I know I'm being rather annoying). What happened to all the polls? People used to use polls for voting, nowadays everyone uses the first, second and third place and HM.
It's nicer because you can give comments! :angel:

Lol, yes. I try my best to make all the awards the same, whether it be the same colours, or if I use a picture I had for my entry, I'll find the use a picture from some else's and use it for their award. Just in case anyone thought I was making the best award for myself. :sly:

Well I display all my awards on my site. Even the very first ones I won, because I saved them all to my computer at the time and when I started my site, and as everyone else seemed to have awards listed, I did the same.

Lol, well some of them have nice memories. Like "that was the first time I got third" etc etc. Actually my award page is pretty embarassing at the moment...I may have to amend it slighty... :lost:

Your not being annoying. :-) Good question. Well even before I started making things, I was never a fan of the polls because I had to choose one entry and I didn't like being forced to make the choice. As a graphic maker, I think it's an unfair option, as if your banner for example, is not the best, you hope you will get a 2nd or 3rd place vote anyway...with the poll you have little or no chance. And I think that's why polls aren't used much. ;)

Yeah, I noticed the trick with using the same pictures from the winning banner on their awards ;-)

I haven't been on your site in forever, so I wouldn't know, don't worry. I think displaying the awards is nice, it's like giving credits to the graphic maker and honouring his/her work (which is the reason why I flash member awards if I win - someone did spend some time on making them! Ohh and the banner in my signature, of course, since it's a request... but I'm sure Arwen wouldn't mind if I changed now ;-))

Hmm... that was confusing... actually you can't see what other people have voted for if you vote in a poll, because it only show current results after you have voted...

Another question (it never ends!). When people enter more than one entry, I think it gets more difficult to vote, because one banner might be really nice and the other maybe like a 3rd or 4th place... I'm always wondering whether I should rate all the banners and vote for the averageness of them or just for the best....

Well I try. Or at least try and get something that matches or connects with their entry.

Well with my re-vamp I have changed the way I have disaplyed my awards...which is why it looks embarassing... yeah, your right. I mean if you won something, whether it was graphics or an AU member award..it would be silly not to display them or something, even for a short time.

No, I know. What I mean was, if you are one of 6 contestants, and your banner is not the best, if the voting was 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc, there is a good chance you will get a few votes...with a poll...the only ones who really get chosen are the ones who would have got 1st or 2nd.

Yes, that is difficult. (It also makes more work when you're trying to gte the voting started). I have seen some lovely entries...but the other three aren't that good. So if someone makes only one entry and it is excellent which do you place higher? The one with an excellent entry and three "meh's" or the one who just has an excellent entry. :blink:

Ohh sure, I get you now... I forgot you can't vote for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in a poll... see, it's been way too long time since I voted in a poll! :P

Yeah, it annoys me if one person has four banners for the contest and the others have one each. There is a bigger chance to win with multiple entries... But.. nah... I don't care so much about it, I think I usually vote for my favorite (single) banner...

I always save my awards to my computer. I have like two places where I save them all. :) And Gilraen, I love our Arwen banner! I hope there will be another disney contest soon. I love disney, the true idealism. :)
