I don't think so. I can get a banner done in a few hours. But it all depends on the person. I'll probably host another when this one is over though (exactly the same) so you could jump in that one instead if you need more time. |

As I've said in the other threads, can the deadline be a bit later? Yes, it only takes me a few hours to make a graphic (at the longest), but I actually have to be home to accomplish that. Even a Saturday-evening deadline would be fine. The 30th is just way too soon for some people. |

But on the whole deadline thing, wouldn't it be more fun if more people could join the same contest? With such a short deadline not many people are going to join because a) they might not even have had a chance to even see the contest thread yet and b) not everyone can make a graphic in a few hours 
It's your contest so you decide of course. I'm just speaking for the 'little people' here

Well I can see what people are saying and as I am a very slow graphics maker, I would normally be worrying. But on my part (as I intend to enter all three contests) I see it a real challenge to get them in on time. And as I am choosing to enter all three I am making it harder for myself. But we all need a push now and then eh?

True, everyone needs a challenge every now and then, but I think contests are always more fun the more people are in them. *shrugs* But it's still FRODOFAN's contest

Good one Maetharanel! People, please. Sometimes we don't get what we want. I have been very busy lately and finally have some a little time to put into A-U (I haven't really posted here in months). I'm the one that's going to be putting up the poll and rather than risk delaying it because I don't have the time to set it up with so many entrants, I've chosen to make the deadline short. Those that can get their entries into this contest will, those that miss it will be able to enter the next contest. It's no big deal. It's just a forum contest! JF, thanks for challenging yourself! I really look forward to everyone's entries, but relax! There's no pressure (at least there shouldn't be). This is supposed to just be for fun... |
