Oo, great idea lady_E! I'm always looking for new ideas for the next round of each of my contests, and it'd be brilliant having some input from the participants.

I've been thinking about doing a Disney Pixar or at least animation banner contest, but I think it'd be too much like my favourite Disney movie banner contest. What about something a bit more specific like "Disney princess" or a little more vague like an anything Batman contest so that you could make a banner from either movie? Ya know, I think I may go with the Batman contest. It seems I've talked myself into it.

I'd really liked to see something dealing with Harry Potter... I am really into that fandom at the moment... something dealing with the books or something..

Ohhh, I would also like to see art contests, making graphics with art like Larael's banner, or drawing in general =)

^ that sounds interesting, if anybody else wants to do that then i will start that contest up - no point starting something nobody will enter, except one person.... i achally started a contest sometime ago, it was called the author contest, and bascially all you did was made one or two banners about the author or anything related to he or she, their books,the movies, anything really. But the contest round was Jane Austen and nobody entered it

I was actually thinking the other night about art contests. Actual art, not the regular stuff we do all the time. So I'd love to see some of those.

What sort of art are we talking? Actual drawing/painting or the use of drawings/paintings in graphics?

Both... I was thinking more like drawings/paintings for graphics, since I don't have a scanner, but it would be cool to see actual drawings as well

^ sounds like fun, they had a contest here once, was called "your favourite book contest" and all you did was enter a charcter or two from a book, you had to use the same art the illustator used.... i emtred the magicans nephew.... was very fun!

oh oh oh, maybe we could do something like that exept make like 12 rounds of it, the first could be HP, then maybe LOTR (or some ar by alan lee as he is so amazing with all that)

well what do you think bout that?

I like this idea of using some piece of actual art! You can count me in if it's on its way!

I think a good bit would enter an art contest. Being a graphic maker takes some appreciation for traditional styles.

I would like to see an on-going stock photo contest. Like maybe one picture per round or something.
