Post subject: | :: The Photography Contest Round 7: Christmas Foliage :: |

Greetings! Welcome to the Photography Contest Christmas Special! ![]() The next five rounds of the Photography Contest will be hosted alongside one another to make it easier for you and me with the busy season now upon us. Each round will have a different theme, but will end at the same time, so no confusing deadlines you have to remember and plenty of time to use your photographic appliance. The theme of the round .... Christmas foliage
Quote: The Slightly Tedious But Nevertheless Important Stuff:
- Your photograph must follow the theme of the round. For this round your photograph can be any plant or flower which is distinctly Christmassy. Holly, ivy, mistletoe etc. Plants can either be real or fake, as long as they are classed as Christmas. - You must use your own image, no stealing other people's photos (I have hungry pink duckies to feed) - Only one entry per person - All entries to be posted here by URL only. Due to the absolute overcrowded-ness of my PM box, I can't accept PM entries this round. However, please just post the URL for your image, and the voting will be as anonymous as I can make it - You don't need to have taken the photo specifically for this contest but if you can, use a picture that hasn't been turned into a graphic and posted here - Photo size can either be 600x400, 700x500 or 800x600 (if you don't have a graphics programme and you need your image resized post here and let me know) - If you edit your photograph in any way (see below) you must post the original photo as well as your entry (URL link) Remember: This is a photography contest, as such your photo will be judged on .. just that .. the photography side of things, not how well you have blended images together or made it all pretty with textures and brushes. There are a few ways you can edit your image, but not many (:teehee:). You can: - Edit the lighting - if your image is a bit darker or brighter than you would like then you can alter it, however don't make a daylight picture night and vice versa. ![]() - Retouch faces - retouch scars, pimples etc - Crop photo [Note: If you are without means to edit your photo's then post here and I'll see what I can do for you.] You can't: - Colour your photograph or turn it black and white - Make it glowy - Add brushes, textures, patterns, text or other images - Add frames or borders When you have read the rules, feel free to enter! ![]() Due Date: 27th December Number of particpants - Unlimited Contestants: Johnny's Fan ![]() Nurrantiel Mashiara ![]() Altariel Frodo ![]() Entry in = ![]() Entry not in = ![]() |

I am sorry for a (probably) very stupid sounding question after all of the others... but, this contest does not involve garland too, does it? I don't think so, but I'm just making sure... since that's really the only kind of Christmas foliage we have around here... ![]() sorry for the bother, JF dear... ![]() |
