Since I felt that it would be rather unfair for me to vote, I’m going to comment on all of the entries. It’s so clear that everyone worked so hard and I feel they deserve some praise.  Mind you, I’ve also added some constructive criticism, so please don’t bash my head in with a stick - I’m only trying to help you improve your graphics. 
<b>Pandora</b> :: Beautiful composition of the banner; the smaller text is very appealing and your eye is drawn to it almost immediately. The picture placement is very nice. But the white border around the banner bugs me, but I’m just a freak when it comes to stuff like that… 
<b>Nissya</b> :: The orange and green definitely makes the image pop; nice use of text and patterns.  I would just try and make the text a bit clearer, since I nearly missed it the first time I looked at all of the entries.
<b>Johnny’s Fan</b> :: Very clean and crisp; the colours are soothing and your text placement is perfect. The white border is kinda bothering me, though - I think it’s more of a personal phobia I have, so don’t worry about it. I’ll go be weird somewhere else.
<b>Meldawen</b> :: This one reminds me of an I-Spy book - every time I look at it, I notice something new… like the treble clef and music notes. It definitely got my attention and the blue colour is very calming. The only thing I would try to fix perhaps, is the fact that it’s really busy with so many images.
<b>Shadowcat</b> :: This entry is very interesting… the pictures remind me of the old Nancy Drew books, for some reason. The yellow is a great contrast to the blue and white and grabs attention quickly. That stitching pattern is very cool as well. It’s a bit confusing to me though, because of the way the pictures are blended, I think.
<b>Nurrantiel Mashiara </b> :: I’m not sure what movie or show the images are from, but I like the way you used three pictures on the left and put one guy on the right. I love the little detail of the yellow sparks (?) on the woman’s face. Perhaps a few more patterns would also work.
<b>Lothycat</b> :: Eeep! The colours and shininess are utterly beautimus… I believe I’ve seen this picture on DA, but you’ve made it look wonderful on this entry. This style reminds me of my own, so naturally I am fond of the teeny tiny text or boxes - whatever they are. The only thing that I’m stressing over is the fact that you spelled ‘losing’ as ‘loosing’… [/typofreak]
<b>Elenya</b> :: The earth tones of this banner really make it seem gentle and soft… the swirlies make it feel ethereal and I do admire that. Perhaps a few more brushes or sparklies or something, but other than that it is very pretty.
<b>Esteleth</b> :: Wonderful movie and very awesome colours… perhaps some more decoration or patterns, but otherwise it’s beautiful.
<b>*Ennostiel*</b> :: The shininess and faded images are awesome. The text looks great on the faded pictures of her. I really like this entry for some reason that I just can’t pinpoint. I don’t really have any suggestions for you.
<b>Calloniel (PD)</b> :: The colours and text are brilliant… everything really works on this banner. The different pictures make it seem as though the characters are looking at each other, which I find rather amusing. The white-esque line that goes from the bottom left almost all the way across the banner is sorta unappealing to me, though. I’m not sure if this was intentional or not…
<b>smeagollum</b> :: I like the grungy aspect of this entry; the green sorta gives it an almost ancient feel. The text placement looks great and fits very well with the banner. But the cut-off eye towards the top kinda makes him look like an alien.  ha ha.
