I thought that it might be a good time to make an effort in restoring a little bit of LOTR to the contest section. Afterall, where would we all be without the LOTR graphics that inspired us? :-)

I know that some might think that the subject has been done to death, so this contest will be set around certain themes which will be different each round. Hopefully some we haven't seen before or for a long time at least. ;) So welcome to.....

This rounds theme is: "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you"

The aim: Create a 700x150 banner which encompasses this quote - in images only. No text can be used save for text used in brushes, textures etc. Anything that you can't read pretty much (thanks Ammy ;)). Use ANY LOTR images you feel goes with th quote. If you think about it, there are many situations and characters who suit it.

The deadline: Wednesday 16th February (but this is flexible)

So enjoy yourselves and let's hunt some orc...er.. create graphics *makes speedy exit*

That's pretty much all I have to say about that.

Oh, guys. I guess animated banners are in. ;) (but not scene to scene banners because then it's not one bannr is it :teehee:)

I guess I should have checked about animation, but when I saw the contest and the quote the first thing I thought of was Legolas's Ithilien scene that was cut...

MEMEMEMEMEMEM. I need to get back into graphics. I'll come up with something shortly!

Short, but sweet. I felt cliche, but I went with the Gandalf/Frodo scene for this one.

Yeah I was actually looking at that contest earlier. Only I don't actually have any of the old stuff that I made, because all of the earlier stuff from 2006-2007 that I've made, I lost it all when my old harddrive self-destructed on me and I couldn't retrieve anything from it. So I don't think I can enter it. Unless I have some stored in our old family computer... but I'll have to check.
