Linariel and I are already judges . . . but I'm not sure if Myra is considered a third judge . . . but we would have loved to have you as a judge even if all the spots are already taken!

He walked through the wood
He sang of Tinuviel and Beren
Until he heard a soft voice
It stopped somewhere near him
He could hear it.

She lingered through the trees
She sang an elven tune
Until she heard the sound of footsteps
They stopped somewhere near her
She could sence it.

A man, a ranger
Standing there stopped in song
He didn't know what to do
He thought he had strayed into a dream
Or gained an elven power to see what he sings
But niether was true, he had crossed the path
Of an Elven beauty.

A woman, an elf
Standing there stopped in dance
She didn't know what to do
To continue on dancing to her unseen pipe
Or to ask the ranger why he is in the elven wood
But she could do neither, she had crossed the path
Of a mortal beauty[/font]

Lady Alias - I like that your poems on a picture... that's cool. At first I though it was a song heh, nice rhyming, you describe a very nice scene there! Great job!

GaladrielLadyOfLight - Ahh the power of colored text! hehe, another beautiful non-rhyming poem, (I will make a poem in which I don't rhyme, I hope ) You poem also creates like a scene in the mind. I like how you said, 'Standing there stopped in dance' its a good line. Great poem!
