Hahaha . . . Paint program. . . keyodie, why put people through the same torture you had to go under before you got Photoshop???
But apparently, Paint is alright since it produced all these nice graphics - although some look blended, and Paint doesn't have the blending attribute . . . I'm not really sure if some were made from Paint . . . Anyway, I voted Beriadanwen, but good job to everyone!!! I've tried making graphics with Paint - so I know that it really really isn't easy. Anyway . . .

Well I just bought Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lost Disk today and my parents won't let me see it until the weekend. Now THAT'S what you call torture.

Anyway . . . Thanx Elberethsq! Wow 2 people voted for mine! I assure you I made it completely and entirely in paint. I had the urge to go to photoshop to nicely resize the pix cause paint does a really bad job but I didn't lol. I voted for IdrilFalastari because I know you put a lot of time into it and I think that the result is really lovely

Oh my goodness! This was another one of my tough voting contests. First, i wanna congradulate you ALL on doing a GREAT job with all thse banners, I mean geez, they were done on paint! Fantastic! But in the end it came down to: IdrilFalastari, PirateoftheRings, Blueedyedgirl4God, Beriadanwen, and Claire, if I could have voted for you all I would have, they are all nicely blended, and look like they were done on Photoshop or PSP, so congradualtions to you all! these were my top five! But like I said, these are ALL amzaing and I couldn;t have done any better! But my final vote went to *drum roll) PirateoftheRings! Great Job! Congrats to you and to everybody! I wouldnt have even had the guts to enter a contest with something done on Paint!

i voted for pirateoftherings. i don't know if this was done on purpose, but the moment i looked at it, it reminded me that Will's treasure is not gold, but Elizabeth. very nice job! |

Ah - I believe that it was all completely Paint, Beriadanwen! Oh - and pirateoftherings - that's pretty good for paint!!! But I don't know if you use the same Paint I use because the one I have doesn't allow any blending - or any other of the qualities that you have in that banner! How confusing . . . Congratulations to everyone, anyway.

Oh, but you see, there's this nifty little tool that you can use! If you look, at the top row of the toolbar, you'll see this squiggly dotted thing. It's a freehand cut-out tool. You just cut out what you want, and paste it onto the picture. Sometimes the edges are a bit sharp, and I can see that pirateoftherings softened them with the paintbrush most excellently. You can be quite tricky with paint if you know how to manipulate it!
