Wussten Sie, dass es in St. Augustine ein Museum gibt, das sich der mittelalterlichen Folter und grausamen Bestrafungsmethoden widmet? So etwas würde ich gerne sehen. |

I recently visited the Museum of Medieval Torture in Chicago https://medievaltorturemuseum.com/chicago/ , and it was truly unforgettable! The atmosphere here is simply mesmerizing - subdued lighting, mysterious music, frighteningly realistic exhibits. Each torture instrument is accompanied by a detailed description and history of its use, which makes the visit not only spectacular, but also educational. I was especially impressed by the interactive zones, where you can take a closer look at some of the mechanisms. I can’t say that this place is for the faint of heart, but if you are interested in history and want to experience the real effect of presence - I definitely recommend it! |
