Hi everyone! I'm planning an escape room with some friends and I'm considering one set in an old science lab with a missing scientist. Has anyone tried it before? I'd like to know how realistic the experimental atmosphere is (equipment, props), how difficult the puzzles are, and whether it's best to go with a small group (2-3 people) or 4-6. Are there any nuances regarding timing, clues, or surprises that I should consider in advance?

Hey! I tried that one https://cognitionescapes.com/rooms/the-experiment/ , and it was honestly one of the most immersive experiences I’ve had. The setting really feels like a real lab — detailed props, eerie lighting, and that constant feeling something’s about to happen. We went as a group of five, which turned out perfect: enough brains to handle the tougher logic puzzles without too much chaos. The clues are clever but fair, and the tension builds naturally as time ticks down. Totally worth it if you enjoy a story-driven, atmospheric challenge.
