Faramir! Definatly! Eomer came in second. But Faramir rocks! He is so nice! in the books.*grumble grumble grumble*
You thought Eowyn was pushy? She is, a bit. I think its because since she is a woman, she is so used to being pushed around by "superior" men, and being pushy is the only way she can get attention and be noticed.
Very odd thought, but have you ever said or thought a word so many times that it loses meaning? that just happened with pushy. sounds like squishy! Squishy squishy squishy!

Considering this poll is for the books I have to go for Eomer... his character in the books I feel is much better than the film counterpart. Especially his relationship with Aragorn. In the books, there is a evident sense of companionship and respect from the two who shall rule thier respected lands. They understand each other and each other's deep seated love for thier land and thier people.

I agree with you completely. Eomer was greatly underrated in the movies. I know that the scene from the end of TTT when he and Gandalf come charging at the nick of time was very effective, but I still think they shouldn't have taken him out of the battle, especially because of developing his relationship with Aragorn.
" And so at length Êomer and Aragorn met in the midst of the battle, and they leaned on their swords and looked on one another and were glad. 'Thus we meet again, though all the hosts of Mordor lay between us,' said Aragorn. 'Did I not say so at the Hornburg?' 'So you spoke,' said Êomer, 'but hope oft deceives, and I knew not then that you were a man foresighted. Yet twice blessed is help unlooked for, and never was a meeting of friends more joyful.' And they clasped hand in hand. "
I just loved this scene.

I'm starting to have different thoughts. Can I say Gandalf the White? I think he's pretty awesome.

That is the same thing my best friend always says, she thinks Eowyn isn't right, because she first flirts with Aragorn and when she can't get him she goes to Faramir...
I voted a while ago for Eomer, he's absolutely the best person!!!

Faramir, for sure. Especially in the Extended Edition. Eowyn was a great addition, and I like her a lot, but Faramir is the best.
