Count me in! I want to live in Rohan! It's a beautiful place, I like it much better than Gondor. Gondor seems a bit too...well I can't think of the word but it's not as free and open (as eowynshieldmaiden said) as Rohan seems to be. I also love the people of Rohan; Eomer, Eowyn, Theodon. Some of my favorite characters.

Yes, I like most of her dresses too, especially the one at Aragorn's coronation and the white one she wore at Edoras. (sorry for being off topic.)
I'd like to take horseback riding lessons, but I don't know where I can, and how much it would cost. Somebody told me that draft horses like the Clydesdale are best for training because they are so kind.

When , I first read TTT, I really liked the Rohan culture. They are strong, free spirited people, who love their country and animals. I also liked the fact that Eowyn, as woman of Rohan, was very independent and wanted to fight like the men did.
My initail thoughts (don't kill me) was that it was drab. Obviously, I've looked beyond that and seen how magnificant Rohan and it's people were, and I think my first feeling was that because I was unexperienced! I'd only recently read the books etc, but now I understand about Rohan mor, and like it.
Eowyn is like a fire, strong, independant, and will stop at nothing to do what she wants!

Rohan makes me think of a kind of Celtic culture, maybe a little germanic(im talking about the ancient tribes of course)

Oh really? That's an interesting conclusion. This morning, when I was watching the second disc (the special features of TTT, I think) Peter Jackson mentioned that Rohan is Viking-like, a bit Scandinavian - Scandinanian - er - how do I say it???
Anyway, they are a bit Celtic-like I suppose, but I think the one feature that sets them very apart is the part on how they are considered the horse-people, considering how they love horses, and have the best ones. (Gandalf's Shadowfax came from Rohan.)

Rohan... oh my god, I love this country and its people so much!
They are so strong and free; and they love their horses as much as their children.
If I could ever go to New Zealand, my first destination were that hill Edoras was build on!! Though it doesn't stand there anymore - the land is still the same... ROHAN....!

Ya it kind of does seem Celtiky, if you think about it. I thought the Celts loved horses too. Actually, they remind me a bit of Old Scotland. At least the way they dress.
Sorry all ye people from Scotland I'm probably totally off on how the people of old dressed.

Oh, yes, the Rohirrim are wonderful! I love horses and horseback riding! I liked Rohan because even though it was a kingdom, it was very....comfortable...and oldish like, as if it had gotten used to being there and it really belonged. And I liked Eowyn because she didn't dress horribly fancy (even though I like fancy things). I think it showed that even though she was a Lady of Rohan, she was equal on the outside to her people---people recognized her because she was always helping and defending.
