Doies anyone else like theodred in unfinished tales?

Eowyn or Theoden! I feel so horrible for Theoden, poor guy, gets back to normal and finds out his lands are being taken over and his son's dead!

I'll have to say my fav. Rohirric would be Eowyn,Eomer. They were both loyal,caring, great warriors.I think even Theodred was also a great Rohirric.

Oh! So there are stories about Theodred? well, i've gotta go read them.

Well, I've gotta say Eowyn. I love Theoden; love Eomer--but Eowyn. Definitely Eowyn.

The Battle Of The Fords of Isen chapter in Unfinished Tales is a great one on the defense of Rohan. filled with battle description and military strategy, tactics, and what can happen to an army when the leader is struck down. Its a nice aside to read when you get to that part of The Two Towers as it fills in what happened to Theodred, son of Theoden.

The period of Rohirrim history before the War of the Ring is intruguing.

I'd have to say Eowyn. She caught my attention when I first saw TTT. I love how she cares for others and runs to their aid when they need it. She remained by Theoden's side even though darkness had overcome him. She was not one to sit on the sidelines and let things happen. She jumped into battle and fought alongside those whom she loved, even though it was unheard of for women to fight. I admire her courage and the fact that she doesn't fear death. She is overall my favorite character. But, her brother Eomer is faithful, gallant, and comes in second of the people of Rohan.

Eowyn has to be my favorite. I loved how though she was a woman, she still fought for her people and for Middle-Earth. She was also the slayer of the Witch-king, was good for the Free People of Middle-Earth during the war. Her kindness toward others even where there seemed to be no hope was something that really caught my eye. I loved her character, and she was one of the reasons I've read TTT again and again.

I would have to say Eowyn or Eomer. They both are strong at heart, and even when they go through tough times they just continue on with their lives.

I'll choose Eowyn or Eomer.Eowyn because she's a strong woman,and Eomer because he is very loyal.
