and I like the young look of legolas while he is pretty old, in my view. but he also doesn't act like ' ha! i'm an elf, im better than you!' (so in that I completly agree with Aerlinn)
Haldir looks much older, but I really like it when he comes with an army to help Theoden. he died there, so no undying lands for him
(am i right in that? I mean, if a elf dies, the elf doesn't go to the undying lands? I mean, its pretty strange to be dead in a "undying land".)
yeah, there both cool, but just one could have my vote.
And besides, Tolkien did help us understand Legolas more as a character but if perhaps the author had elaborated a bit more on Haldir I suppose I would like him too, but not as much as Legolas
