i really thought Andy Serkis was really good

^ Oh yes, Andy Serkis did an amazing job! He usually doesn't get much credit because people say you never really see him on screen, but you do. Every time you look at Gollum/Smeagol your seeing and hearing Andy.



It's really close to Britian, where I live, so it was pretty easy to get there [and cheap, lol. ]

to tell the truth when i first read the book i thought gollum was more nicer then when portrayed in the movies .

I agree with you. I was kind of surprised with the movie because he was a bit different from what I got from the books.

gollum from the book was a little bit funnier . But in the movie, he isn't very bad!

Yes weird is a good word. Imagine he was living inside the caves inside the Misty Mountains he was eating whenever he could find something and it should have been tasting like...

I liked Smeagol, he was hilarious.

I actually think they did a great job with Gollum in the movie - he looked just like i pictured him!

I don't know exactly why, but I feel very sorry for Smeagol, not for Gollum. He is schizophrenic, has two completely different persons inside of him. He can just controll 1/2 of himself and is not responsible for what the other half does, if this side kills Deagol or bites Frodo's finger off.

I can't remember what's Gollum in the book is like, so I cannot say if he was funnier or not. I like the movie one better!
