Whoa...this is a toughie. For some reason it's harder for me to remember from TTT. I know one of my favourites was (for some reason) The Uruk-Hai. I thought it was funy to hear the Uruks talking to each other. For some odd reason I like hearing Orcs talk, like in RotK.

Boromir's death.
My favorite and my least favorite.

Hmmm..I don't remember The Two Towers that well. But I would have to say my favorite chapter was the departure of Boromir. It was a good way to start off the book, even though it was sad.

My favorite, by far, is The King of the Golden Hall. I never get tired of hearing about Meduseld, and Éowyn's beauty, and the start of the whole ordeal with Aragorn.

My favorite is definately "Choices of Master Samwise." It's very moving chapter, has a gripping storyline, and shows Sam coming into his own, shows the essences of Tolkien's ideas of virtue, loyalty, bravery at all costs...just great!

The window in the west... the one chapter I have reread to death!
I also LOVE the bit in the Riders of Rohan where Eomer rides up. Everyone starts making speeches at each other, a lot of fairly deep and meaningful things are said and it's really fun to read aloud!

I love the Helm's Deep battle- the contest between Legolas and Gimli makes me laugh plus it shows the bravery of all the Rohirrim, and the sacrifices made- Hama dies!!!

I preferred the description of her in ROTK- Tolkien described her as a flame visible from far away because of her white clothes...
(at least I THINK that's ROTK...)

I really can't decide between The Window on the West and The Choices of Master Samwise. I haven't read it in a while but I loved how Tolkien described everything in such detail in Window on the West. I liked Choices of Master Samwise because it was suspenceful and when you read the part about Frodo 'dying' you just want to start crying.

Hmm, I don't really have a favorite chapter from this book. Maybe because it took me the longest to read out of the three books. (I know, weird. The first half didn't take me long, but as soon as I got to the second half...that took me like three months to read...)
I remember I liked the Ent Moot...but I can't remember which chapter that was and I'm far too lazy to even go look it up right now.

Entmoot was funny because of all the remarks about the Ents not being 'hasty' made me laugh

loved the first half of the book, umm my favorite part in the second half (or 4th) was when Faramir ganged up on the hobbits, and surprised them by telling them Boromir was dead, and the part when he learns of the ring and tells them he won't take it even if he found it by the wayside.
