The departure of Boromir was good. Sad, though, but I tend to like movies, books, etc. that are moving and touching. The author or filmmaker has to be very good then to be able to grab the reader's soul or whatever and have control of that person's emotions.

I love the Lament for Boromir in that chapter... *sob* "What came of Boromir the Fair? He tarries and I grieve."

My favorite chapter is probably "Shelob's Lair". The descriptions in that chapter are just incredible. I feel like I'm actually THERE! And even though I'm arachnophobic, I just love reading it. It's just so powerful and imaginative. That is definitely my favorite chapter, even though I'd rather read about Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. XD

^yeah, I'm arachnophobic too! I never knew that such a word existed, and now I know just what to call myself! Arachnophobic! *looks beyond computer* Is that a spider??? AAAHHH!!!
Ahem, off topic. Sorry. I'm watching TTT this week, so I should get to the part where Grima is rolling down the steps.

This morning I watched TTT, and I saw Grima rolling down the steps. Gosh, I SO don't like him. He's kind of disgusting. Eowyn should have kicked him.

now, that would of been great
it's digusting to think that he wanted to be king and Eowyn to be his queen, he doesn't deserve anybody!

Oh yes. I really didn't like the part when Grima was with Eowyn, who was at Theodred's bedside. SO disgusting.

Elberethsq, they actually had to do like 2 or 3 months of night shoots, that's why it's so blue, and they dimmed the lights.

Yeah, I watched the special features disc, and they mentioned about how they had to shoot many scenes at night, and how it was really freezing, poor them. All to present to us a spectacular film!

Yes yes yes, I really feel bad for the extras, because they just had to stand there and wait - and wait - and wait, and they were so cold that they were jumping up and down to keep their circulation going! Do you think the rain was real? Possible.

and the suits wouldn't be dry for the next night's shoot, I don't want to even imagine the smell of the molding plastic *cringles*

It was sprinklers?? I always wondered how they made the rain - and I also saw that some of the workers were dousing the orcs in water with hoses to give them a soaked look in case the rain wasn't enough.
