Whoa...this is a toughie. For some reason it's harder for me to remember from TTT. I know one of my favourites was (for some reason) The Uruk-Hai. I thought it was funy to hear the Uruks talking to each other. For some odd reason I like hearing Orcs talk, like in RotK.

Same here!

it took me the longest to read out of the three books. (I know, weird. The first half didn't take me long, but as soon as I got to the second half...that took me like three months to read...)

That's exactly what happened to me. I read the Fellowship, then I went straight into the Two Towers and I had a tough time getting through it. Really weird.

Well my favorite chapters are The Uruk-Hai and the chapters with Faramir. I always loved Faramir, even before I saw the movies and saw how hot he was :P

I like all the chapter though :) A great book, although it took me a while to read it.

Is my favorite part in the second book, second part. (or book 4 as Tolkien had arranged it)

I love Grima Wormtongue. LOL! Of course. He is my fav. because in his history the reasons for him becoming evil are very strong and sad. I also feel sorry for him. He is quite missunderstood.

You know a lot about Grima?

Actually I really don't know much about him, so I guess your right he is pretty misunderstood.

My favorite chapters in TTT would have to be Flotsam and Jetsam, because several of the Fellowship was reunited there, and The Riders of Rohan, because they meet Eomer and because of Legolas' words:

Quote:
You would die before your stroke fell.

Eomer insults Lórien though. :annoyed: (No offense to Eomer fans, I like him too.)

And I guess you're right, Miss Grima. I never really thought about it, but Grima is misunderstood. I feel sorry for him too.

I really enjoyed The Road to Isengard as well as Flotsam and Jetsam, as I really enjoy Merry & Pippin and the story of how Isengard was flooded. The White Rider is another favorite chapter. I enjoyed Book III more than I enjoyed Book IV as the Aragorn/Gimli/Legolas/Gandalf/Merry/Pippin story was always more interesting and entertaining to me rather than the Frodo/Sam/Gollum story.

:) My favorite two chapters in The Two Towers would have to be "Treebeard" and "Of Herbs and Stewed Rabbit" - Both were interesting and funny.

"The Voice of Saruman," "Helm's Deep," and "The Departure of Boromir" are my favorites from The Two Towers. At least, that I'm remembering. I haven't done my annual reading of LotR yet, so my memory is a little rusty.

Helm's deep immediatly sprang to mind.
I also like the departure of Boromir.
Both are very wonderful!
