Look at the avatar: you know that I think Eomer is the super cool character introduced in TTT.He's got nerves of a steel- titanium alloy. Oh and Faramir, just a really cool, calm collected kind of Guy

She is cool too. Really tough and fearless. and just properly daring.
The slightly longing part of her personality was left out in the films I think whcih was a great shame as it made her a unique character. 8)

Eowyn and Faramir... Have you noticed the way Eowyn's introduced?
"Grave and thoughtful was her glance, as she looked on the king with a cool pity in her eyes. Very fair was her face, and her long hair was like a river of gold. Slender and tall she was in her white robe girt with silver; but strong she seemed and stern as steel, a daughter of kings. Thus Aragorn for the first time in the full light of day beheld Eowyn, Lady of Rohan, an dthought her fair. Fair and cold, like a morning of pale spring that is not yet come to womanhood. And she now was suddenly aware of him: tall heir of kings, wise with many winters, grey cloaked, hiding a power that yet she felt. For a moment still as stone she stood, then turning swiftly she was gone."

It would be Faramir, but it has to be Eowyn because I'm a major feminist. Without her I'd be a bit miffed that there were no women in this story apart from the one that stays at home.

Eowyn I think is the best one because she seems loyal.

I chose Treebeard. I somehow like him best. Though they all play there part well. I do think Gollum is the best, as it must have been very hard to play Gollum and it is very well played. Even better than I had expected. But unfortunately I couldn't choose that one. So I went for Treebeard.

Hm, that is a tough choice. My final answer (and vote) was Eowyn, because I just like her character, and the side of ME that she gives that we just don't see through the men.

While Éowyn was cool, she doesn't seem as cool as Faramir. Faramir is, without a doubt, my favorite character introduced in TTT.

Faamir, eomer and eowyn are my faves. they just add a degree of class to the stories and make the plots richer I think.
