I like TTT more than the other two. Maybe it's because it moves a little faster and there is more action going on in it. I still love the other two though. FOTR moved a bit slow, but you couldn't skip over anything because you might miss something vital. ROTK was mostly just what happened after the War, though that was interesting to read too. I dunno, what are your thoughts about it?

Yea it was, though I liked some parts, like Tom Bombadil, I thought he was a neat character. It's too bad he didn't make it into the movies.

I think my favorite book is RotK, but TTT is very close behind it. I agree: FotR moved too slowly. Towards the end, it started to pick up. But I just love RotK because, well, it's the climatic part of the trilogy! I think of the 3, RotK was the fastest moving book. But I still love TTT. Aw, heck, I love the entire trilogy! :-D

Yea I think that FOTR is the only book that I can say was boring and slow moving but I still love it anyways lol. It has some good stories in it and some interesting things.

I can't say wich book I liked the best, I see them as one big book. But Two Towers was great, because there were my favorite human introduced: The Rohirrim! I love them, so that was why TTT was very good. But ROTK is the best, because it has such a wonderful ending!

I totally agree. I am seeing too the books as one but if I had to chose one I think I would take RotK. It is the end and all the challlenges, battles reach to an end and it is described what happened next.

I can't decide... I like all books equally, because it's just one big story for me and every part is important I think.

The The Towers is a great volume! It's hard for me to say whether it is my favorite or not. I'm reading it right now (I've got to hurry so I can finish the series in time) and am amazed as always how the story just keeps having more and more momentum as the book progresses!
