I never really liked the beginning with Frodo and Sam trying to get through the Emin Muil. It was just so boring!

The first time I read the book it took me two days. Do you believe there is chapter I do not like?

i think they're a good break, you need something a little less intense after a while.

I don't think that the parts of Frodo and Sam were boring. Of course there were no battles and fighting and all that, but they were in that danger of getting closer to Sauron with the ring and they had Gollum with them and I think that they were in greater danger than the rest of the fellowship.

yes there was danger in all, but there was more phsical danger with the other parts of the fellowship, with sam and frodo there was more mental danger.

Same here, I like to know what was going on with them, but they really didn't do much. I think I almost fell asleep once

Yes of course, you couldn't directly see the danger, but I think that this made it more uncontrolable and for me Frodo and Sam always seemed to be in greater danger though you couldn't see it.

The Two Towers was my favourite book from the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but I didn't like 'The Choices of Master Samwise'. It was slow moving, and at the time, I didn't understand a word of it.

I loved the Frodo and Sam bits...I love both of them, they're two of my favorite characters (along with Aragorn, Legolas, Boromir, Faramir, Arwen and Eomer... ). I honestly can't pick a chapter I didn't like, I do actually like the Merry and Pippin/Uruk-hai chapters. They break my heart but I love Merry and Pippin so much...uh oh...two more favorite characters...

I hate to say this against the hobbits, but they were terribly boring. I was over there skipping pages until something interesting popped out.
