As I recall, my most "hated" chapter has to be 'The Riders of Rohan.' It was inifinitely boring... all that running. Bleh.

I don't know actually... I was so exited after finishing book one that I immediately started reading TTT and I can't remember being disappionted anywhere... but you're probably right about the hobbit-parts...

I also felt that when all hope had seemed to fade for Frodo and sam there were too many "lightnings" if you know what I mean. Too many Galadriel's helping them up...

I read it now and you're right it is very interesting. But it's kind of annoying reading it when all you want to do is get right into the book :)

My least favorite chapter...hmm...The Stairs of Cirith Ungol. How could Gollum trick them like that??? :disgust: And Frodo was so nice to him! :annoyed:

the hobbit parts definately need a little more spice.. especially in the two towers and the rotk!! but i loved reading about the battle of helms deep and the glittering caves!

I agree with most if you in that sense that Frodo-Sam chapters are litte more boring than the ohters. Although I wanted to know what was going to happen to Frodo and Sam, I still found it difficult to read those parts quickly. I had more reading motivation on the other chapters :-D

Hm... I can't remember alot about TTT... but I think it must have been the Sam and Frodo section, because those chapters aren't half as interesting to me as the chapters with Aragorn, Legolas etc!

Gods yes, i completely agree. I always loved the bits with merry, pippin, aragorn, gandalf, gimli and legolas much better than those with Frodo and sam. i just love the battles!

I personally liked Frodo and Sam's chapters and Aragorn's chapters. I'm the kind of gal that likes to know what's going on all around, so I was excited when I got to read them. ;)
