Why doesn't the Hobbit got a Forum discussion place of it's own?
Both book and movie doesn't have one.
Movie was understandable since it hadn't been comfirmed before lately, but the book?!

Having a place to discuss the book would be nice. But as the film hasn't been released yet I'm not sure there's really enough material for it to warrant its own forum yet. Maybe nearer to the release date when we know more about it (actors etc).
However a place to discuss the book would be ace...

I agree with Hravan, although it can also be fun to speculate things about the movie and share little 'juicy tid-bits' that we might have heard through the grapevine.

AWESOME.

sounds epic. but Toro better make it less creepy and wierd than he made Pan's Labyrinth ( was a good film like, but I was strangeded out to high heaven )
(I just knew they HAD to have PJ )
So when it comes out, you have my full support in this.

There are SO many forums already, it takes so long to get the the bottom and to find certain forums... not to mention it takes longer to load the more forums there are.
Just a fact. Do what you want though obviously.

Arwen is the only person to have the ability to create new sections so this addition (should we agree on it) may take some time. However, the Hobbit film is still a far-ways off and I imagine that we'll be getting an increase in new members / returning members after the film is released.

I voted yes, but I also agree with the above statements. There really isn't enough content for the movie yet, but that will change as time goes on and I think once there is enough content it would be nice to have a seperate section for the movie.
The book, thee shoudl be enough content for it I would think.

I think a simultaneous release would be bets if such a thing went ahead, mostly so that people don't get jaded on one before the other.
But also because, well, a simultaneous release would I thin encourage more debate and cross refeencing.

Because AKAIK, you mods have access to the forum's admin panel, as you have to activate members and ban I.Ps and stuff. You make the new sections on the same control panel.
Um. This is news to me.

I suggest a Hobbit section after the first movie is released. Right now, let's just have a thread with speculation instead of an entire section containing only about 5 threads.
