Last summer, my nephew had a little mishap and slipped on a wet dock at a different marina, and we found ourselves scrambling for help. It got me thinking—how can you really tell if a marina is safe? Are there folks around who can lend a hand if something goes wrong

Totally get your concern, Jake. Stuff like that can happen so fast. I’ve been to The Cliffs Marina a few times and felt pretty reassured — they’ve got staff on-site, a fuel dock with pumps, and even a boat repair shop if anything goes wrong. I think they also work closely with local rescue services. You can find more about that here: https://thecliffsmarina.com/. Once, our engine stalled near the marina and someone came out to help within minutes – not every place is that responsive. Having that kind of support around really makes you feel safer out on the water.
