I've been having the same problems. Needless to say, it's driving me as mad as it is the rest of you. There have been so many threads about the different kinds of problems/error messages. Now A-U's not even avialable at all at times. Sometimes it won't let me on for a couple of hours, and sometimes it's only a few minutes. Lately it's been giving dying on me for a few minuts several times a day. And at first I thought it was just my computer being slow, but every other site loaded just fine. It was A-U that was taking forever.

*is scared* No one seems to know what's going on or how to fix anything. I know Arwen was/is busy with school and such, but I kind of assumed she'd be back sometime this summer and could then fix all of these crazy problems and stop all of our worrying.

But now... it's looking like problems here keep getting worse and worse. Maybe it's my paranoia talking, but it seems like if we keep going in the same direction, there's bound to be a crash sooner or later, which I know no one wants.

I like JF's way of dealing with it. Is there any way Arwen could be told and then maybe a mod could fix it? Or even at least make some progress to fix one of the many glitches we're having? At least then we wouldn;t all have to be annoyed by the problems and as worried over a possible crash.

That could be if you're posting in Miscellaneous Randomness. Your posts don't go up at all when you post in there.

I've had the same problem, and it's been worrying me but I thought it was my computer or something. I've found that double clicking helps a lot, for whatever reason, but it still takes a long time to bring the index up and to log me in.

I have exactly the same problem as you Este and it gets pretty annoying, especially when I don't have much time. I don't know if it's just because of my comp, since it's a very slow and bad comp.. but it's definitely occured a lot more often than it used to.

I get a lot of "No posts exist for this topic" or whatever, after i submit my post and go to view it, and sometimes its super slow... and the page is not available or soemthing.

Is there anyway to make it go faster? Maybe the mods need to do a sumer clean up, and delete decrepid threads etc... i dont know how else to make the forum stop spazzing.

Oh, look, problems! *watches excitedly* oh, wait, I'm supposed to fix these, darn...

So I just did a clean-up of some stuff, a lot of errors in the database I did find (Yoda-talk! ) that hopefully fixed they are now, update to the latest forum software I did, noticing that the forum IS running rather slowly at times I am, hoping that the cleaning-up will help I am. We'll see. It <i>is</i> getting to be a pretty big database with all these topics and users... *sigh* Dunno if that's slowing it down.

Oh, and hi to everyone I've been away for too long, I think...
