And to my wits' end, to be honest. I'm basically doing work, taking a break to do A-U stuff, then going back to more work.

Vicious cycle. But I'll get those up, I promise. You guys worked hard on getting those member awards and you all should applaud yourself for a good work so far.

The polls are now up. I've set them to close after 20 days. At the end of the 20 days if we have ties, we can set up a 'tie-break' round up.

Good job guys.

Also if you guys are up to handling the next member awards, note that yes, Ea, HoL and I are not allowed any more awards, but there's also the restriction that members cannot be nominated for more than two categories during a round.

Try to see who already has how many awards for the previous rounds and see what awards can go to another member if that member has accumulated 4 awards already. I don't know if it's four awards each in different categories, but I'm pretty sure it's four awards in general.

I didn't know we had a restriction to how many categories a member could be nominated in.. or perhaps now you mention it... *thinks hard* Last time the members who were nominated in more than two categories were asked what two categories they chose to 'compete' in, aye?

And I'm sure the rule is that a membr can only win four awards in total - at least I know I've never won four awards in the same category. :teehee:

Lol, well I keep noticing JF and Larael being nominated for a lot of things and I made awards for the last round so I just notice they're nominated for the same few categories as last round.

I understand you guys may not have known and at this point it's not worth the trouble of fixing but we'll see what we have at the end of this round and make note of it for the next member awards. You guys did a good job organizing this, so one small detail shouldn't destroy the overall effort. =]

Yes, I noticed that as well. :P

If we could possibly though revue the rule of 4 awards per person ever though.... I think the main problem is we don't want the same people to win the same awards every year, so instead of saying to someone "you can't ever be nominated again", it would be better I think if "you've won in this category x amount of times, so choose from the other catergories which one you want to go for instead".

I don't know really. 4 doesn't seem like an awful lot for ever and ever amen. But then again I suppose it depends on the person. I've been here 3 years and only won 2 for graphics things, whereas other people fit into many different categories, so they could chalk up 4 in 2 years or less.

True... but I'm sure we'll have members hitting the four award limit after this round - so they'll be out soon, muahahaha. ...*ahem* I mean the limit starts to make sense now since the nominees for certain awards are getting a little repetitive! :teehee:

Well who gets nominated for what does depend on the voters.

To be perfectly honest, I'm quite stumped by some of the categories I'm in this year, and disappointed by others.

I suppose technically, I shouldn't have been up for the graphics award this year, but I somehow don't think that will matter. XD
