Ok, well, I'm very glad that most things relating to the ranks have calmed down and that a lot of members seem to like them.
However, to quote Miss Elizabeth Bennet, I deserve neither such praise nor such censure, depending on whether you like or dislike the new ranks. This thread stretched on for many pages with ideas from many members, and the ranks are directly based on the things they came up with.
So, I definitely don't merit all or even most of the credit/blame _________________

well i have done a small survay of my own and 100% said that yes they liked haveing something to work towards. Arwen if there is anything i should know, like silver stars for the last level, please tell me and i will add it to the New Leveles info thread.

So, I believe the moral of the story is: don't jump to conclusions, get angry, or start blaming people before you understand the situation. Also remember that those in authority do not have superpowers, and therefore are neither perfect nor do they have complete control over every situation. And finally, changes rarely happen without some difficulty.

AHH! How come all the big changes happen when I'm busy and have to leave??? *grrr* So now I'm back to down to....AN ELF!    LOL OH well! The new changes are nice; now I have to work my way up again!
