I apologize for getting so defensive, but it just bothered me to see you make fun of us like that. I think most AUers are very attached to this site, and I know I consider it a place where I can be myself and relate to all different kinds of people from around the world. I'm very connected to AU, and that's how I like it.

So happy that it didn't completely DIE.
I was continually checking to see if A-U had returned in class on my phone, more than a few teachers got mad.

But it was worth it!

Was a bit concerned with the length of time it was down. But I managed to get a lot of reading in, so it wasn't time wasted at least.

Glad it's back to normal.

I wasn't too concerned, because this happened before a few months back--not for this long, though--but I didn't think Arweb was just going to leave us hanging like that. Also, because I had writer's black and thus didn't post at RP forums, I spent a lot of time reading and hanging out with people. I almost finished Notre-Dame de Paris...which was depressing, but worth it.

I'm still curious as to why it happened, though. O.o

How about everyone just calms down and respects each other? Pleeeeeease? Some people are more into A-U than others. Some do see it as a sanctuary. Some see it as just another forum. Some don't even know it exists, although in that case they are totally not reading this and it doesn't really matter. Whatever your opinion, just keep it respectful.

What happened this time? Apparently a member (or more than one) was spamming people via PM and there were quite a few complaints. The server suspended A-U on 6 June, which was the day after I left on a road trip, and I didn't have internet access to see the message until yesterday, at which point I tried to get it resolved ASAP. I'm very sorry for the delay - it wouldn't have taken so long, but if you haven't noticed, I'm not at all active on the forums right now. I'll probably be back on in a little over a month, but currently I have exams and massive traveling coming up and am a little preoccupied. This doesn't mean that I won't do my best to keep in contact with the server to see what I can do to keep this from happening again.

Of course I remember that! It was probably one of the worst things that's ever happened! EVER! [With the exception of tripping over a bright yellow fire hydrant in front of the entire 8th grade class ] Heh heh I'm not exactly the most coordinated person out there.

Wasn't it terrible?! I think I really did lose my mind a little then!
(I walked into a pole in front of two classes of 2nd graders once. I was waving to a friend, and not looking where I was going. She started to make gestures to warn me and I thought, what is she doing?! Then I hit the pole. It hurt, too! The 2nd graders were quite amused. ) But right now I consider two weeks without A-U much worse!
