Actually Ellie, if you'll please forgive the vague reply...we mods have found recently several people have been having issues with the chat software, and they are people who to our knowledge haven't been banned... and yes, we've all been looking into it to see if a setting has been changed or something with the latest update on the software. Which unfortunately hasn't given us much light on the subject, which is very frustrating. So far the only things we know for sure are: some people with multiple names are having issues logging in when they try to use one of their many names, but I don't know if that applies in your case, however we do have a few chatters who've registered up to 5 names and the chat doesn't seem to like that for some reason. Also, as you mentioned it is possible a trouble maker/repeat offender was banned and your ip is close to it, ...if you would, email or pm a mod your ip address that wouldn't work for the chat, we can check it against the list of banned ip's to either fix the problem or eliminate that possibility. Sorry for the inconvienence, we'll try to get it worked out as soon as possible for you and anyone else with this issue.

Actually, it isn't really happening, Ellie...
We just didn't get things together in time, and most people are thinking it isn't worth it if there are other chatters there.

oh well.. back on topic: I've also had problems with getting into the chat.. same as you Ellie.

Okay, people who've had issues with chat, I did do a little work today to see if I could find any issues with the chat/banned ips, etc...and found one thing ...and thus corrected it, I don't know that it'll fix chat for everyone, but should help several who are having error messages when they try to log in. ...have a good evening everyone..  _________________ [~+@&#=^?]
