I've been getting that for SO many topics! Today it happened to me at the Nazgûl club and then the character elimination game... it doesn't even work if I refresh, wait a while, come back and refresh again.
:confused2:

That has been happening to be a lot also. I personally think the the forum is ahead of counting because I will go back a page and see the post.

Oh, really?! I never noticed that. Actually, I never did try going a page back... thanks, I'll try that next time :)

This happens to me ALL of the time. There are very few threads that won't make me go back to the previous page...

No, you press backspace to go back to the place you first clicked on the page number to the thread. Then, you click one number back.

It is happening to me an awful lot as well.

When I realise that page 3, for example is bogus, I then go back and click page 2.

It's very annoying though, as you don't know what page is suddenly going to tell you that it doesn't exist.

What I do is I just click the second page out of the available three, then just read what people have said in the little scrolly thing when you go to post. It saves time trying to figure out which page has posts or doesn't.

Meh...this happens to me about every thread I go to. I'll go to page ..... and it says that, that page dosn't exist, so I have to go back a page. Very annoying. (epsecially with my dumb comp ;))

Also I've noticed on a couple of threads, on the main index it say the most recent post. Occasionly it will say that the most recent post if from 1:00 pm I think on December 31st of 1969 by the user " " so yeah...

Yeah, I think a few of us have noticed that, so I think it would be fair to say, all these weird things that are happening are down to the forum being gonky.

^I've seen that too! I thought my comp was just going crazy, but it must be another forum glitch. And it doesn't have any username below it either... :confuzzled:

I think the Dec. Whatever comes when a thread disappears...

Oh well, the overall basis of the forum still works, which is good.

I've always thought that it was that someone double posted by accident and then deleted the second post... And you know, that the second post appeared on the next page and when they deleted it the page still remained. Might be completely wrong, though, cause it happens a bit too often...

I think it might do that cause a post was deleted, so the page still stays there, but there is no post!
