*nods in agreement*

I too am disbanding the internet until finished.

If you wish to discuss the book, do it in the thread in the Lit. section, and just to all members, think how you would feel if someone started spewing spoilers and you wanted to wait. Dont end up like the New York Times, and ruin it for unsupecting muggles.

I completely and utterly agree with you.

Which is why I have a new banner. ;)

Oh dear me, I haven't even read the Half-blood Prince yet and there is no way I can do it before the Deathly Hallows will be released - since I don't even have the Half-Blood Prince... I'm afraid I'll know the ending before I read it..

Anyway, I just wanted to commend your banner and avatar Gimli, but the text is changing too fast - for us slow readers! ;-)

^ Same here. And as I am only 80 pages into the Chamcer of Secrets it is going to be a long time before I read DH. But still, I don't see why people can't keep the HP talk to the right threads. I am sure, that if we POTC knew the majority of people did not want to know about POTC we wouldn't have talked about it anywhere else.

Thank you. :-) Yes, the text is rather fast I'm afraid. I actually wanted a much more better text effect, so the text faded but for some reason when I uploaded it, it was fading at such a slow rate, Harry would be 56 before anyone could have read it. ;)

Aww, Chamber of Secrets... that's an eternity since I've read that!
Hmm... this Potter-craze really make me want to read the Half-Blood Prince.. but I'm afraid I wont be able to get a copy until I get back to a decent city on Wednesday... and then I'll be working. Exuse me for repeat myself, but dear me!

The text is a lot more readable now. :-)
Yay, it rhymes? Great job!

Yes, same here. I wouldn't even attempt to read the 6th and 7th books until after I read the other 5, as I simply can't remember half of what went on in the 4th and 5th books, and I think you need to know what goes on in those to understand Half-Blood and Deathly Hallows.

Lol, thank you. I tried my best to make them rhyme. :-)

I completely agree Ellie! Great idea to make a thread about this ;)

I am actually leaving today for a week and won't be on the internet anyway, but I know for the rest of my Potter -maniac-friends, we should be spoiler free! :D

JF - Amazing banner! I love it

Even though I'm not a Potter fan, I have to say that I hate when people leak spoliers. I knew what happened in PotC before I even got to see the ending, so it ruined it for me.

Don't ruin these types of things for others!

And how long is this "no spoiler" thing supposed to last? It would seem a bit unfair to deny people who HAVE read the book (and no... I haven't) their desire to make a banner/avvy/comment/RPG about the Deathly Hallows.

Well, I for one know quite a few people who haven't read DH yet. I know I waited at least 2 weeks before I put an AWE spoiler banner in my sig, so I'd like to think most people could at least wait 2 weeks before they put DH spoilers all over the place.

Still, I think the spoilers in the wrong thread should still stand, no matter how long ago DH came out.

I agree about the spoilers. I'm just in chapter 5 of DH and i finished Half-Blood-Prince last night! so I'm being VERY VERY careful in the forums b/c usually (before i became a big HP fan) my friends would tell me about the books and i'd watch the movies and such but with this book they're all a little further than me b/c they started on it the night that it came out but they've banned me from trying to torture it out of them. so since i'm not alowed on spoiler sites i'd rather not read any spoilers at all, ya know? not even my friends will reveal the wonderous magical loooverlyness that is the Deathly Hallows. so i guess i must read it for myself. *Sigh*

Yes, I agree. I've read it, and I'm not going to let anyone else know what happens until they read it. I was very wary of the internet after the book had come out.
