Yay, glad y'all like it! Kit gets mine avvie right: it's of Wesley (or does he spell it Westley? I forget...) from The Princess Bride. Isn't he sweet?
For those having problems with the forum staying purple:
If you use Internet Explorer, open IE up, and go to Tools >> Internet Options. Under the blue heading Temporary Internet Files, click on the Delete Files button. Click ok, and refresh the forum page. It should now be all green!
Ok now this is kind of random...but has anybody guessed that the woods background is more than one picture?

Ah, that's better! Purple and green do not go together like that! 
I wouldn't have noticed that it's more than one picture if you hadn't pointed it but I can pick it now. Is it only two pictures, or have you incorporated more into it? *peers at picture* Upon reflection, the light from Arwen's face does look a little odd... I think I've been looking at it all too closely, so ignore it...

WOW the layout is gorgeous (I prefer it to the last one by far!) Arwen shouldn't worry about people thinking that it's just an "Arwen Site"as anyone with half a brain cell who looks at it would realise that it isn't!!  plus my bro loves the site, which if you knew him is saying something!

Okay...no viggo.... but i like viggo better...wesley is too "soft" fer me....but yeah, that's a matter of taste 
What is this "glow" you all talk about? I just see a normal wooden pic.....  I LOVE green...had to say that again....

Well, if you notice the lighter areas sort of "glow" softly?? It's a nice effect Arwen fancies on her graphics, and a very nice touch on this layout. I think its beautiful, brings back memories of the other beautiful green layout back in v. 2.? or 3. something or other... anyways, it's beautiful, the composition comes together amazingly well considering how many pictures are involved, and I love the fact that Arwen is sort of "hidden" at a first glance, not placed prominently. I don't know what the main idea was but it almost seems as if she was walking the woods before she met Aragorn, or maybe in her last days when she returned to Lothlorien, but this layout's too happy and serene for something that sad 
My props to Arwen, one more time _________________

It looks very cool but the main site's not really working for me though I tried deleting my temporary files. The main picture comes up as the new one but everything else is just the old colours.
Edit: for some reason it worked this morning and looks very cool _________________

The layouts slowly changing to green...a few buttons so far...on Firefox...

Man do I love this new layout!! I was gone, I came back and here it is! I love purple, but the green looks great! And I certainly love the top banner on the main site! Great job Arwen!

I came and saw the complete green layout the other day and it looks great! hopefully it's not going to stay a mix of purple and green is it because it looks strange at the moment

Oh I LOVE IT!
I admit, it looked weird at first with the forum green but random littel bits of it purple, but now it's look so pretty and fresh!
I prefer light font on dark colours aswell, and it looks really lovely!
