Opinions? I didn't think it lived up to expectations, perhaps that's sloppy on my part as I needed to be more organized? |

yep! It was great! I can't think of anything to improve it... except that I didn't talk to many people as I don't know anybody really well. Other than that... I liked decorating Christmas Trees the best. |

I really like it, too even though unfortunately I wasn't on very often (lots of things to do in real life..) Yeah, I think it was great. |

I thought it went really good! I didn't end up posting as much as I had meant to, but it was still good. I think with the second masquerade, (for me, anyway) I forgot about it in the excitement of revealing Secret Santas. lol |

Don't worry Kit. ![]() I thought it was great. I don't think any ball has been as busy since the very first one we held, but if only a handful of people liked it, then it was worth it. Perhaps it was a little bit close to the line this year, but who knows? Sometimes no amount of organzing can make people join an event. I didn't join as much as I would have liked, but I really loved the revealing of the Secret Santa's, that was great to have a thread for that, we're we could just ponder about our SS's. ![]() |

I'm guessing it was good, because they always are. Unfortunately I wasn't aware there even was a winter ball until it was under way, and I only found out because I spotted a short statement about it in someones Sig. So my main issue is the lack of 'advertising' for the event. Because all the pre-event threads were tucked away in Misc. Randomness, I didn't spot them. I'm not suggesting that it needs to be pasted in 20foot high neon flashing signs all over the forums, but a short post in the Announcements section saying when and where, a week or so in advance would be great. It would also be sure to attract more attendance, because it would be seen by almost all the forum users, and it would seem more 'official', if you get my drift. I don't want to detract from the work that was done on it, I just feel that spreading the word a bit more would be a good idea. Meh, I'll even volunteer to be Head of Advertising for the next one ![]() |

I loved it! The only thing I would have changed would be to have the tree decorating two days instead of one. |

^Actually, the thread for the tree decorating was open throughout the entire thing.... people could've easily kept decorating. ![]() |

I agree with Darrell. When someone, such as Kit in this case, puts a lot of effort into something like this I'd really like to see it pay off in the number of people who participate or even know about it. Advertising will be essential for getting future balls/events off the ground. Otherwise, I had an enjoyable time despite the fact that I didn't have much time to be on and I'll definitely go to the next one. ![]() ![]() |

I had a great time, even though I never got past the ballroom, he he! More advertising might have helped, but as it was, there were quite a lot of participants! Kitoky did a fine job..including the SS ..I have said it before, but I´ll say it again ..thx, for your effort and all your hard work |
