Lately I've noticed a lot of my posts around the forum aren't counting... or else it seems like sometimes I'll make a new post and it'll actually minus my post count.  I don't know if this has to do with the whole way AU has been recently anyway or what...  it seems like it's marking them down so you can see them, but it's not really counting them. or maybe I'm just missing something.

PD, I'm gonna be completely honest. I have no idea. You know A-U's always been kinda of glitchy, and we don't exactly have the webmissy available all the time. |

ah, I see... well, that's alright (and it is sorta what I expected anyway  ). Thanks for responding to me, Kit. And at least now I know.... oh well, we still love Arweb (and I totally understand that she has a life besides AU! lol) and AU anyway!

Don't worry, me too darling. Esp. in the very large threads(Nazgul club, movie and t.v. threads, old music thread). I sort of gave up on trying to figure out what was going on. |

I was wondering about that- I'm not exactly sure how many posts I have, but it's more than the number under my icon. It seems like when you post in the tv/movie threads, and the misc. section, the posts aren't counted. eta: Ok I looked, and on my profile where is says find posts by ___, I clicked on it and it says I have 138 posts, but the post count is 114. |

Your problem is easily answered Elarinya. Posts made in Misc.Randomness don't count towards your count. They were removed from post counts some time ago, which would explain why you have more posts counted in your profile than under your avatar (I have 2276 as my count, but have 3564 in my posts search. And it is more than that too, because I made quite a few posts in things like 'last post wins' before that thread got deleted and restarted) As for your problem PD, I have no idea what the matter is. Ever since our webmiss got distracted by the shiny's of 'real life', we've had little problems creeping into the system. Sorry I can't help more. |

Im seeing this too. Ive just been in the WT, and when I posted there first, I had 1796 posts, I double posted accidentally, so that should have been 1798. I deleted the second, and ended up with 1795. gah! |
