Yup...I think we should make a Tigging room....lol....That would be interesting....maybe something like a dwarves vs elves room.....dont know what it would be about.....a dance floor of course...

This is the first of two balls for AU, Taken Over WETA. It will begin on June 9th and last for about a week. We are going to need food, drinks, decorations, etc. In a few days, I will be putting up a thread for what everyone is wearing and who is going with who. Like.. it is based upon the WETA studio. So we will have the.. Model Room Set Costume Department Stunt Room Caferteria Etc. And then plan what will go on in each. |

Ohh ok I get it. Sorry about that.
Maybe it could be like where the people on the fourm get to act as characters or something like that. For example. In the Costume Room people get to pick out the costumes...And in the Stunt Room people can do their stunts and what not..... |

Yeah.. exactly. I like that idea of the costume room. However, I do think we need to remember that characters from LOTR will be coming to the ball. I mean; most of us bring the people we marry there. Therefore, Prince Caspian may be showing up, and, personally, I know Pippin will be. Yeah.. that would be fun for the Stunt Room also. We could hold events each day of the party. |

I think one of the problems with past balls is there have been too many discussion threads posted before the actual ball threads are made. I believe the only pages that should be made prior to the opening of the ball is the what are you wearing/who are you going with pages. We need to try and get as organized as possible. If people want an input over what threads there should be, decorations etc they should come here and tell us. Model Room - Set - if we make it so this was the "pretty" set day when we all invaded the workshops, like Lothlorien this could be the equivalent of the gardens Costume Department Stunt Room - Caferteria - food I'm still working on what the other rooms could be, whether we just use them for dancing, etc or try and make something different out of them. |

I agree. I can go and set those two threads up, if you would like. The set could be used for dancing. I believe the Caferteria will be where a lot of chatting could be. Stunt Room is just stunts. Modell room would be walking around talking, and maybe even a game of hide-and-go-seek. 
Oh, and we should have a water ballon battle out back! |

..... water balloon fight.... in the dead marshes car park set at the back of the studios!  Which set would it be then? For there to be dancing? How about the Hobbiton party set? (I think Lothlorien might be too dangerous... what with all those tree roots...  )I'm not too sure how the stunt room thing would work to be honest with you... I don't know how inclined people are to be.. stunt-y? Now the costume department would be a great place for hide and seek. Remember all the rails and rails of clothes and miles and miles of it at that? 36,000 costumes or something? Imagine hiding in all the clothes or all the containers that hold sewing material. If you want to, then please start the threads. The more time people have the better. I'm going to start posting in the big threads now about this entire event, and hopefully more people will join in.

I think the costume room and perhaps something like Props table or such should be together. You could walk around and see the swords, armor, all that stuff there as well. |

Very true. And we can play around with swords in the Prop department so we don't need the stunt room. So far we have confirmed.. Caferteria Prop Room (Costumes and Such)* Model Room* The Set (Dancing) Dead marshes set (water balloon fight one day) *part of me is thinking that these two should be together, but we do need more rooms, I believe. |

There can be horseback riding and such with the animals of the movies... which are pretty much just the horses =) |
