Seeing as I am non-eligble (does it last for a lifetime? lol) I might as well prove myself useful and take nomination PMs. I can take the rest if you want to, or the next two or three, doesn't really matter to me.

So yeah, I volunteer to help out if you need me, except if you force me to make awards.. then the poor winners would end up with a matchstick man from teh Eä, this is how much I can stretch my non-existant creative skills!

Alrighty. Well.. so what we do now is post a general nominations thread in Misc. Randomness with a list of the awarddies... I believe most are pretty self-explanatory... I mean I really can't add much descriptive text to 'Best sig/avatar combo' without getting repetitive really quickly. But if you want to I can write something along with: 'Vote for the member with the best signature/avatar combination'... but yeah...

Nominations deadline.. what say you? Three weeks, is that sufficient without being too much? Sept. 21 perhaps?

And then we need to stress that people must post nominations directly through PM and NOT in the thread... ohh, by the way... I was thinking of something.. won't people think it annoying and time-consuming to PM nominations to like 4-5 different people? Personally, I'm representing the lazy type... I'd almost give up on beforehand if I had to send five different PMs with my nominations. An idea could be just to list our names and let people sent in the whole batch of nominations to one person - of their choice. I mean that way one person still wouldn't take the whole load and we'd prevent any ackwardness if people have nominated the person they're sending nominations to - or haven't.

Have anyone been in contact with a mod lately? If yes, then we should probably let her know, otherwise we might as well just go ahead and post the nominations thread.
Could be nice if we could get Queen Arwen to make the awards.

I'm a little late in offering, but I could make the awards and whatnot if you guys want. =) Stuff's hectic with school and work and everything, but I'd find time to do it.

I agree with you EA about having a list of us to send PMs to... that way we just have the one thread going around with the nominations...

I will just write my descriptions here, though do we really need descriptions? I think they all are rather self-explanatory
