I have seen several other forums that have arcades and they always seem to be a pretty active place on the site.

I really don't know anything about how you would set one up or what it would take but I think it would be a pretty cool idea.

anyone else think it's plausible?

An arcade? Like, as in pinball machine type arcade? Or am I clueless?

I don't see the point or need. But, ultimately, it comes down to Arweb having to do work and she has enough on her plate as it is.

I was thinking just all sorts of little free online games and it keeps track of your score etc....

But yeah it would come down to that I suppose... *shrugs* just thought I would see what other people thought.

Don't know how much she has to do but I suppose someone else could make an arcade adn just link it to the site... 8shrugs*

who knows it may be a really lowsy idea

Well, I like arcades, but I don't think it would be suitable on AU... as mentioned before, it would be a lot for Arweb to do and I think the site is almost perfect just as it is... besides, I think it would be hard to come up/make Lord of the Rings games and this is a LotR site, so...

Just my opinions... ;-)

*shrugs* you guys are probably right.

An arcade is just a place were you have lots of small free games on the internet where people can go play them Kitokey.

Jax, did you check out the Miscellaneous section on the main site? Not exactly an arcade, but there are some pretty amusing games. For instance, you can battle the evil powers of Sauron by cleverly making little squares!

^Really I don't think it had anything to do with the forum, just the website itself, Kit. ;-) So really it would be something to take up with Arweb and not the moderators themselves.

I don't. Mainly because it makes no sense whatsoever. We have the Your life and Misc sections for relaxing.

Well, you said it worked for another site, yes? So it can't be a stupid idea. I just don't understand how it works so.

Well, I have seen some other forums ith it yeah... starwars forum for one.

But I don't know *shrugs*

Not sure how better to explain it really... it's just a page that has lots of small mini-games and everyone on the forum can play them and it keeps track of everyones score to see who has the top score on each game.

*shrugs again*
