It doesn't work. Is there any way this can be fixed?

Thanks

Same here! And I have no idea why it's doing it either.

Did you get like a weird server error when you tried to go to your profile?

This is what it says when I try to go to my profile:

Quote:
Warning: include(./includes/usercp_register.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/home/tevildie/arwen-undomiel.com/forum/profile.php on line 99 Warning: include(./includes/usercp_register.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/home/tevildie/arwen-undomiel.com/forum/profile.php on line 99 Warning: include(): Failed opening './includes/usercp_register.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/hsphere/shared/apache/libexec/php5ext/php/') in /hsphere/local/home/tevildie/arwen-undomiel.com/forum/profile.php on line 99

I'll try and shoot off a message to Arweb or a mod or somebody far more technologically savvy than I. :P My only thoughts are that it might, maybe having something to do with the whole facelift that's going to be going on one of these days. Maybe? I have no idea. XD

^Possibly something's happened when Arweb deleted all the spam accounts. I don't know about these things, but it might be a hitch because of that...

Hey, sorry about that, guys. I was trying to work my way around spammers registering, but unfortunately my methodology wasn't well thought-through xD Hopefully I've come up with a better way...waiting to see if it'll work. Thanks for bearing with me!

I don't remember what it was like when I registered back in the day, so this might actually be something you've done already. But in case you haven't, would it be an idea to use one of those word-boxes, where you have to write the letter combination in a picture to prove you're not a comp? Or is the spam account something different entirely? :confused2:

Yep, CAPTCHA ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA ) has always been enabled and was supposed to stop spam accounts from registering. It seems to have started malfunctioning around the beginning of 2011, though, leading to about 300 spam accounts registering per day. Not sure why it stopped working, but hopefully when I upgrade the system to the newest version of the software, it won't matter.
