There are a few bugs I know about already (the layout...duh) and Search, but! if you find anything particularly wonky, or just want something explained, post away. Then I'll answer you with a completely unhelpful response and everybody will come away happy.

Sure thing.

See where it says in the right-hand corner "Posted: [date and time]"? Right-click the little icon next to it, the white one that looks like a piece of paper, and select Copy Link Address (or whatever the wording your browser gives). For instance, here's a link to a post partway down your welcome thread: viewtopic.php?p=1126053#p1126053 . Hope that works for you!

Haven't a clue! I had to go poking about to see if the feature existed, to be honest. I don't know things automatically; I'm just relatively quick at figuring them out :-P Hope you guys can make good use of the post-link thing :-D

I can answer this: yes, this feature existed back on the phpBB 2 version as well. I've linked to plenty of particular posts through MSN and stuff. Ahem. :teehee:

Is there a way we can change our custom ranks or do the mods have to do it?

^It says in the Announcement section that "members can ask" to have the rank changed etc, which to me suggests that the Mods are in charge of this. Congrats on reaching custom rank, btw ;)

With the upgrade, I believe mods can't change user profiles right now...I'll fix this later before we get new blood in for the team, but Pandora, if you want to post here or PM me with your chosen custom rank, I'll change it for you.

I feel like such an on-top-of-things admin right now :lost: It's very confusing.

One question: What are these "bots" that are always on the list of online users?

(I did have another one but I forgot so I'll just post it later :duh:)

The Bot user accounts came pre-installed with the forum software. I believe they collect information for search engines and stuff. They have read-only access, though, so it's not like they're spammer accounts who can post rubbish. Let me know if you remember your other question :)
