It's no big deal or anything but er.. since when has AU had a restriction on the size of a username?  I know every year I can be "The" Headless Horseman, but it said my username was too long this time round. Was this manually changed or did it just happen when the forum was updated?

Yup, it's an admin thing.. it probably changed with the last forum upgrade. You may wanna shoot Arweb a PM about it.
