Lately, I've been having a bit of an issue in regards to read vs. unread posts. In certain areas of the forum (Caras Galadhon and Sharky's End, both in the RPG section, so far), it's still showing up as having unread posts even though I've checked multiple times to see that I've 'read' all of the new ones. It was originally only happening in one section of the forum--it started a couple of weeks ago-- but now it's two, and I'm ever-so-slightly OCD so having it a different color when there's nothing new to read is a little irritating. Is it my computer/internet, or the site itself? Sorry to be a bother!

You're not the only person. Sounds like an issue with the site itself.

All right, good to know--I'm always paranoid it's something with my computer, not the site, and the fact that other people are experiencing it too makes me feel a little less alone. XD I suppose I'll just wait for it to sort itself out.

What threads does it happen to? I suppose they're the same each time? And does it happen both in View unread posts and View new posts?

It's in Andi's "A Fantastical Reality" RP in Sharky's End. When I click "view new posts", it doesn't come up on the list, but it does when I view unread ones. And when I'm on the main page or viewing the RP forum in general the icon shows it as unread.

I can't seem to get the "alcohol" post in Your Life to understand that I've looked through all the pages several times to get it to mark itself as having been read. as a result the button thingy on the main site always tells me I've got unread posts in that section. I noticed that it lists Haldir as the last poster, but someone else's post is actually last, could this have something to do with it?
