Post subject:  Banners in signature
I actually had no idea of where to post this topic... but since it is about banners I guess this is a good place to start xP It's just a quick question. Most of the members in A-U has banners in their signatures, and I just wonder where to upload them? I'm not really fond of tinypic, and don't know any other good website, unless it is possible to upload here on the forum, without getting the banner in the form of an attachment.
And one other thing, what size should the banner have in the signature?

I use tinypic to upload my photos, but Photobucket.com is a good alternative.

You need to put the image in your signature like this:

[img] direct link to picture[/img]
or cop and paste the Forums/message board link that the image host provides. I haven't tried this with the AU image host so I don't know if it works with that too :/

I think signatures have to be smaller than 750 pixels wide as that's the maximum image size for the forum. Most peoples signature banners are 700 x 150 or 600 x 200

Banners can be any size, really, though like Lembas said the unofficial "standard" sizes are 700x150 or 600x200. The limitations & rules are detailed here.

I don't really like tinypic, either, so I'd recommend a Photobucket account. Some people like to use imageshack.us too. :)
