We just want everyone (that includes mods too ;) ) to be treated with RESPECT.

I think the biggest disagreement here would be that a discussion about controversial subjects, or even heated discussions, can't still be very respectful. I was a member of another forum for six years where we had a lot of controversial threads, and sometimes the discussions got heated, but there was never a lack of respect. You can disagree strongly with someone and explain why without being disrespectful.

I think maybe staff here are being a little bit too overprotective against the younger members. I know myself that when I was younger it was harder for me to see the difference between a discussion or debate and an argument. But that's on my, really, and not on those discussing. If the discussion is respectful and there are no hard feeling it's not their fault if I think it's an argument/real dispute/disrespectful and get bothered/uncomfortable.

I see where you guys are from, and I definitely agree with that there should always be respect in discussions and all situations, really.
